John, the NC GOP is at it again – here are three things you need to know right now:

1. The State Senate passed the “Parents’ Bill of Rights” – a deceptively-named replica of the hateful anti-LGBTQ legislation that is circulating in state legislatures across this country.
2. The GOP is DETERMINED to silence vulnerable communities all while disrupting students’ education.
3. Even though the GOP thinks they can achieve their hateful agenda by passing extremist bills, we stopped the GOP from gaining a supermajority – thanks to YOU and the strength of our grassroots movement.

John, we know Democrats would never let a bill like the infamous “Don’t Say Gay” legislation actually become law, but we aren’t guaranteed to stay in power.

Right now, the GOP is gearing up for local elections, funneling MILLIONS to support candidates willing to institute the GOP’s crazy agenda at the expense of working families in North Carolina. We can’t let that happen.

John, I know the GOP isn’t stopping their tirade on our rights, but we have the unprecedented chance to get an upperhand right now to uplift progressive candidates to go up against them. We just have to start now. Can you please chip in $27 right now to fuel our progressive campaign and have the power on our side? >> ([link removed])
