​In 2018, we made new history for the MassDems by giving fresh energy to a proud tradition. In the 1970s and '80s, Boston's Chinatown was an essential stop on the political circuit, bringing people together to build friendship over a banquet meal​ in Chinatown​. ​Over the past few years, we’ve rebooted this tradition with the help of ​attendees ​from across the state to raise funds, to bring new people into the​ political process, and to support our coordinated campaign efforts.

This year, our Chinatown banquet will be this Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Empire Garden Restaurant (690 Washington Street, Boston, MA). We’re grateful to Co-Chairs Mayor Michelle Wu and Chairman Aaron Michlewitz for once again spearheading this initiative to support our party’s organizing efforts. This event will support our party’s organizing efforts.

We hope you can join us at the annual MassDems Chinatown Banquet on ​April 6th for an evening of delicious food, signature drinks, karaoke and conversations with Democrats from across Massachusetts.
