In a world where color can be a significant barrier to equity, opportunity, and achievement, this month we honor Black Americans and influential greats such as President Barack Obama, Serena Williams, Maya Angelou, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

These Black Americans persevered and broke through. 

For 20 years, I have led the National Urban League, driven by the belief that we can build a world where there is equal opportunity for all, protection for all, and education for all - regardless of regardless of race, religion, color, or creed. Not only do I believe this, I fight for it every day along with the rest of our team, and that includes you! 

Your generous donations make you a critical part of our Movement that works ceaselessly to ensure that one day Black Americans receive every opportunity – and the protection – that they deserve.

This Black History Month, and always, we continue to fight for the economic empowerment and equality of Black Americans. It is vital to have the support of friends like you in achieving our goal of securing 50 new monthly donors today!
