John, today marks exactly ten years since the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling.

The court's decision opened the floodgates to unlimited corporate spending in campaigns and gave rise to deep-pocketed "dark money" groups that have made our electoral process less transparent and drowned out the voices of everyday people.

Hiral is committed to fixing the rigged system and making sure politicians in our democracy are always held accountable. That's why she's pledged not to take a dime of corporate PAC money -- and run a truly grassroots-powered campaign.

Voters shouldn't have to worry about which special interest group their representatives are voting for. The only interests representatives should be beholden to are their constituents'.

AZ-06's current representative, David Schweikert, has time and time again shown that he cares more about his corporate donors. He's repeatedly voted to help big pharma and the insurance industry at the expense of Arizona families. And End Citizens United (a leading campaign finance reform group whose endorsement Hiral is proud to have) has named Schweikert one of their "Big Money 20" -- a list of incumbents whose donations and voting records represent the worst of Washington's rigged system.

Ten years on from Citizens United, it's clear that if we're going to fix things, we need to defeat the politicians who benefit from the current corrupt system and replace them with champions for transparency and reform.

Schweikert is a prime example of the kind of incumbent we must defeat, and Hiral's building a movement to take this seat back for the people.
