I just bought 10 jugs of drinking water because I live in Ohio downriver
from the massive Norfolk Southern train derailment and toxic chemical fire
that you may have heard about on the news.
Millions of people like me are concerned about potentially poisoned air
and water. Local media reported people's pets died instantly after the
toxins were released.
What you may not have heard is that President Obama had rules in place to
prevent this, Donald Trump gutted them after corrupt corporate lobbying,
and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has done nothing in two years
to reinstate them.

Elizabeth Warren gave a major speech today where she criticized Buttigieg
and other officials for protecting corporate monopolies and not doing
enough to protect Americans from corporate greed.
Millions of people in Cincinnati, Louisville, and other downstream cities
may now have dangerous agents flowing toward them in the water -- while
people to the East may face danger in the air.
Journalists at The Lever report that two years into the new
administration, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is right now
considering a rule promoted by railroad corporations to actually weaken
train safety even more!
After this incident, Pete was silent for 10 days. Finally, he put out a
Tweet calling for "accountability" -- but he is the one who can do
something to hold accountable greedy corporations who cut corners.
Accountability by Tweet only will not do.
