We wanted to send you a quick update on Deborah’s work in the House. Here are three (of many!) things she’s working on right now:

• Deborah introduced the Energy Cybersecurity University Leadership Act, a bipartisan bill that will address the attacks on energy infrastructure by providing grants to researchers studying how to end cyber threats. It passed by an overwhelming 300 votes in the House!
• Last week, she released a fact sheet highlighting the infrastructure investments in North Carolina from the bipartisan infrastructure law, which includes $3 billion for roads, bridges, and road safety and $199 million for clean and safe water in our homes.
• U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services announced a policy change to provide support for children who “age out” of the immigration process to obtain permanent resident status, following Deborah’s introduction of the bipartisan CHILDREN Act — a bill that would provide a pathway to citizenship for our youth.

Deborah is dedicated to finding solutions to problems that impact the American people, and she’s doing everything in her power — including reaching across the aisle — to get it done. But she can’t do this work alone — she relies on our grassroots support.
