Wireless taxi charging

With the help of funding from Innovate UK, we're leading the way in transport technology as the first city in the UK to trial wireless electric taxi charging pads. The wireless pads will be placed in taxi ranks, allowing taxis to charge as they move up the rank, removing the need for dedicated charge points that can be taken up quickly.

With the charging pads and ten taxis we will receive, we can continue to clean up our city's air and reach our goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2028. Read more...
