Last night, less than 24 hours before the Senate was supposed to vote on the rules for Donald Trump's impeachment trial, Mitch McConnell unveiled how he plans to rig the whole thing.
Under McConnell's eleventh hour proposed rules, the Democratic House impeachment managers will have just 24 hours to make their case to Senate jurors - presenting the evidence against Trump in the dead of night.
Mitch doesn't want a fair or transparent trial. He wants a cover-up. And he's willing to break every rule and every precedent to get his way - just like he blocked Merrick Garland, rammed through Brett Kavanaugh, blocked over 400 bills, and kept Trump's government shutdown going.
Luckily, Mitch McConnell is up for reelection this November, and we have a chance to end his reign of terror in the Senate once and for all by defeating him at the ballot box.
We've set an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 to help Democrat Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell in 2020, but right now, we're still falling short.
