UNITE HERE represents a strong coalition of over 7,000 hotel, gaming, and food service workers across the Philadelphia area. Our schools, stadiums, universities, cafeterias, and hotels depend on their hard work and we’re so glad they’re standing with us in this race.

Helen Gym has fought for years alongside UNITE HERE’s members and their families. She wrote and passed the groundbreaking Fair Workweek law to guarantee stable, predictable schedules. Helen also led the charge on legislation to protect service workers during the pandemic and allow laid off workers the right to return to their jobs.

UNITE HERE has made critical differences in recent election cycles — building power for Philadelphia’s Black, Brown, and immigrant workers.

They coordinated Philadelphia’s largest GOTV program in 2022 to deliver Pennsylvania for Democrats — knocking on over 980,000 doors in Philly and the surrounding counties. The dedication of UNITE HERE members helped flip PA blue and elect Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman.
