Team, the results are in. We just finished combing through your responses to our February Priorities Survey, and here are three things that we learned:
1. Everyone shared that they’re committed to tackling the climate crisis.
We feel the same way. That’s why we fought hard to get the Inflation Reduction Act passed — the largest climate rescue investment in human history. It’ll make it easier and cheaper for families to heat and cool their homes, create thousands of good-paying jobs in manufacturing, and create Made in America energy independence.
2. Folks are concerned about protecting Social Security and Medicare.
That’s no mystery. Republicans have repeatedly used Social Security and Medicare benefits in their game of political football over the debt ceiling. And just last week, a Republican called Social Security a “ponzi scheme.” That’s why we’ll always fight tooth and nail to protect Social Security and Medicare — not strip them down.
3. Protecting reproductive rights is a top priority for folks on this team.
Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, our reproductive rights have come under severe threat. That’s why we recently introduced the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act to safeguard access to medication abortion so women can get the care they need.
Team, we can’t do this work alone. So as we count down toward tonight’s mid-month fundraising deadline, will you pitch in $5 or any amount to help us show the strength and unity of this grassroots team to deliver progress on these important issues and more? [[link removed]]
