Fundraisers and political events are usually boring. You have to stand there and listen to boring speeches where politicians boast about themselves and make hollow promises.
Tonight at 5:30 p.m., I'll have my first and only fundraising reception. The wonderful Beth Prykryl and her team have led the planning and organization for it. I thank her immensely. Kelli Cook, the most brilliant political organizer I've ever met, has helped with the communications.
During the event, however, it's up to me to make sure it's not one of the boring fundraisers. My campaign for the 457th District Court Judge position is very unique. I will strive to make this event unique as well.
Please join me at Pappasito's Cantina at 18101 Interstate 45 North, Shenandoah, Texas 77385 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Admission is $60 (I apologize for that), BUT, if you agree to put a yard sign in your yard until 7 p.m. on March 3, 2020, we're waiving the admission price.

P.S. Tonight, if you get bored, I hope you'll yell at me to liven it up. (Oh, and please don't blame Kelli or Beth for this particular communication. It's so awful that you should know it came from me.)
