Patriot,

This week and next week, the House is out of session, and many of
the Washington, D.C. politicians are back home, working their
districts.

Over the past month, Campaign for Liberty has been reaching into
their Washington offices, calling and emailing their staffs,
delivering your petitions, and showing them how many of you are
demanding they go on record supporting Audit the Fed by
cosponsoring H.R. 24, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act.

And these efforts have resulted in more than doubling the number
of cosponsors!

But now that many representatives are back home, it's time to
reach them there, too!

If you visit your congressman's web page, you'll find the phone
number for his or her district offices. These district offices
typically get fewer calls than the Washington offices, so you're
more likely to reach a live person, and the local staff is more
likely to pass your message on, especially when the boss is in
town.

Here's a simple script you can use to leave a message for your
Congressman at the district office:

Hello, this is [your name] from [your city]. I'm calling because
Representative [Name] has not cosponsored H.R. 24, the Federal
Reserve Transparency. I'm sure it's an oversight on [his/her]
part, but constituents like me need to know [he/she] is taking
the skyrocketing inflation seriously.

The Federal Reserve is out of control, and Congress has failed in
its duty to oversee the Fed on the most important issues facing
our economy: inflation and employment. The American economy was
devastated by the government's response to Covid, and the Fed
enabled it. We deserve to know what was done with OUR money.

I am asking the representative to contact Representative Thomas
Massie's office and cosponsor the Federal Reserve Transparency
Act, H.R. 24.

And while your congressman is in town this week and next, look
for "town hall" events where you can meet your representative and
discuss Audit the Fed. The district office staff should be able
to help you with that, as well.

Let's hit them in Washington when they're in Washington, and at
home when they're at home.

Keep up the pressure, and let's keep the momentum going!

Thanks for all you do for Liberty,

John McCardell
