John, the Congressional Budget Office just issued its report on
the impact of new and upcoming legislation headed by the GOP House. The
results are, well, as expected.

Some of the most recent legislation (H.R. 23) would allow corporations and
wealthy individuals to continue to skirt tax regulations as defined by the
Inflation Reduction Act. This, according to the CBO, would add $114
billion to the debt. Additionally, they are interested in repealing
Medicare's ability to negotiate on prescriptions, which could potentially
add $159 billion to the debt.

Notice the trend here? The GOP frantically messages on making the economy
better for working people, but they instead focus on legislation that
eases the tax burdens on the wealthy, not the many. The majority of their
proposed legislative agenda hinges on giving tax breaks and loopholes to
corporations and the top 1% of earners.

The Republicans in the House will continue to cling to failed economic
policy and the age-old trickle-down economic theory, while average
Americans struggle. [ [link removed] ]Can you help us to push for better representatives,
better legislation, and help us take BACK the House?

John, the GOP and the MAGA majority will be taking steps to
make it harder for the 99% of us that already work hard and struggle to
make ends meet. We can put pressure on for better legislation and better
leaders for our country. Thank you for being a part of the fight.
