Good Morning Young Dems,
From everyone at the East Bay Young Democrats, we are here to wish you a belated Happy New Year! This year will undoubtedly bring many political battles to the forefront, so we've got our work cut out for us, but we need you in this fight. To say that 2020 is a tremendously important year in politics would be a significant understatement — there's too much at stake for ALL young progressives to not be involved in the political process.
That being said, here's a refresher on what we're about:
EBYD is the East Bay's largest collection of young progressives who aim to shape the Democratic Party for the future, as well as promoting the interests of young progressives sin local, state and national politics.
As Young Progressives, we are the margin of victory in this fight. If we want to live in a country free of the current destructive leadership causing irreparable damage at the national level, we need fight the fight at the local level. If you're interested in getting more involved with EBYD, we highly encourage you to attend the following event:

Super Tuesday is coming up! Please join us as we look into endorsing the following races:
- California's 13th Congressional District
- California's 9th State Senate District
- California's 15th and 18th State Assembly Districts
- And many others, as well as propositions and ballot measures.

As we collectively transition into this new year, we must show up, and show out, so that the books of history record that the American people stood up for what is right. The importance of this pivotal point cannot be understated, so let's get to work.
