Here’s what you need to know: Anti-abortion radicals challenged the Food & Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone (used for medication abortion!) in a federal court in Texas. The Trump-appointed judge could rule to OVERTURN approval later this month.
Here’s the bad news: 67 Republican members of Congress just filed a brief supporting the anti-abortion challenge to the pill.
Medication abortion is the most common form of abortion care in the U.S.
Overturning mifepristone approval would BAN that care in every state — even where abortion rights are protected.
If Democrats truly want to protect our bodily autonomy, we need them to speak up loud and clear.
