When the CHIPS Act was signed into law last year, we made an important step towards bringing high-paying manufacturing jobs back to America, allowing us to lead the way in the production of technology, create more jobs, and promote American innovation. Add to that the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation and the Inflation Reduction Act, and it’s no surprise that we are starting to slow down inflation and get our economy back on track.

In the Senate, I worked hard to get these bills over the finish line, but I could not have done it without grassroots support from folks like you. As Democrats, we should be proud of this progress, but we can’t afford to rest on our past victories. We’re facing a GOP-controlled House, a tough Senate map in 2024, and a potential Trump-Biden rematch… Not to mention a critical state election here in Virginia this year. With so much more work yet to be done, we have to make sure our progress doesn’t grind to a halt.
