I know a thing or two about what it means to roll up your sleeves and get to work. I grew up in a working-class family as the granddaughter of immigrants and the daughter of a World War II veteran. I paid for college by working and waiting tables at Caesars Palace as a Culinary Union member while taking out student loans, and eventually I became the first in my family to graduate. Now, I'm humbled to serve Nevada in the U.S. Senate and fight for the hardworking families who have helped build our great state.

But FiveThirtyEight is reporting that the battle for Senate control could once again come down to Nevada – and experts say I'm one of the GOP's top targets for defeat. I need people like you to help me fight back and win – but time is running out before our crucial mid-month deadline, and we're falling short of our $50,000 goal.
