VoteVets

In 2002: they ran ads attacking Senator Max Cleland - a triple-amputee who left three of his limbs in Vietnam - for being soft on terror.

In 2004: they wore Purple Heart band-aids mocking John Kerry’s service during the Republican National Convention.

The NRSC said Tammy Duckworth, who lost her legs in Iraq, “has a sad record of not standing up for our Veterans.”

They vote against the PACT Act. They try to privatize the VA. They say our troops are “suckers and losers” who are “throwing their lives away.” They mock Gold Star families.

For a long time people equated Veterans with Conservatives.

Republicans got away with these kinds of attacks.

But because of VoteVets, those days are OVER. We’ve turned the tide. We organize Veterans. We elevate their voices for progressive causes and Democratic candidates.

And we get results.

But we can’t do it alone. So please:

Can you contribute $3 to VoteVets before our mid-month fundraising deadline comes to a close tonight at midnight? We would not ask were this request not so important.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

Thank you,

The team at VoteVets
