The country has been waiting for Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin to reveal why his heart suddenly stopped during an NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals last month. Yet, in an interview with ABC News on Sunday, Hamlin said he would not disclose what caused his cardiac arrest.
“You’re 24. Peak physical condition [that] could run circles around me right now. How did the doctors describe what happened to you?” ABC News’ “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan asked Hamlin during the interview [ [link removed] ].
“That’s something I want to stay away from,” Hamlin said in a response omitted from the ABC news article [ [link removed] ] about the interview.
“I know from my experience at NFL, they do more tests than anything,” Strahan said. “And in the course of you having your physical, did anybody ever come back with any, say, you had a heart issue or anything that was abnormal?”
“Honestly, no. I’ve always been a healthy, young, fit, energetic human being, let alone an athlete,” Hamlin responded. “So it was something that [we’re] still processing, and I’m still talking through my doctors to see what everything was.”
Hamlin collapsed after tackling Bengals receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of the game. Assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington immediately began performing CPR [ [link removed] ] on Hamlin, which saved his life. It was later revealed Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest.
After Hamlin was hospitalized, doctors gave updates on his condition during news conferences but did not disclose the cause of his cardiac arrest.
Here’s the thing: We all know NFL players were forced to get vaccinated in 2021, and the members of the Bills who weren’t vaccinated were “named and shamed” by the media. Damar Hamlin was not listed as one of the players who refused the shot and continued to play, unlike other team players who were sidelined over their refusal to receive the clot shot. We also know that young, fit, healthy men don’t just drop dead, which is what would have happened to Hamlin if he wasn’t immediately administered life-saving treatment.
If everything was ruled out, including previous health history, drugs and obvious causes of cardiac arrest, wouldn’t that leave only one possible cause? The COVID shots Hamlin received to play football, known to cause heart damage, caused heart damage? Wouldn’t it be imperative to disclose this so that other players could make informed decisions about their medical care? Wouldn’t it be important to consider the vaccine as a possibility to prevent the same from happening to other people?

But no, telling the truth might cause “vaccine hesitancy.” Millions of people tuned into the game and witnessed Hamlin’s near-death experience. Millions of people would think twice about ever getting vaccinated with an unsafe and ineffective shot if they knew it caused Hamlin’s heart condition.
So instead, they’re going to embrace cognitive dissonance, pretending they have no idea what caused Hamlin’s cardiac arrest—just like they have no clue what’s causing an insane amount of young people to die suddenly. If they’re not embracing cognitive dissonance, they’re adopting the silent treatment.
You will never hear corporate media or government officials admit the COVID-19 vaccine is causing cardiac arrest. In doing so, they would be admitting they were either active or complicit participants in something that harmed millions of people. You can’t be implicated or implicate others if you’re “pleading the fifth.”
It’s unfortunate that Hamlin wasn’t willing to take a stand against what is arguably the biggest crime ever perpetrated against the American people. Speaking out could have saved tens of thousands of lives.
It would also be great if someone looked into whether Hamlin was paid to refrain from disclosing the cause of his condition to protect a billion-dollar industry. It wouldn’t be tough to slip this into what the Dept. of Health and Human Services is already paying to protect us from accurate information that might cause vaccine hesitancy.
