Did you see Nancy's email below sent last week?

I wanted to provide a quick update. Dozens of attorneys general filed a brief last week in support of the FDA in the lawsuit brought against the agency to reverse its approval of medication abortion pills. The brief, led by New York Attorney General Letitia James, states that revoking access to medication abortion, would have "devastating consequences" for Americans.

If the court grants the plaintiffs' request, medication abortion pills could be taken off the market across the country—even in states where abortion rights are protected.

We are preparing for how this decision could severely impact abortion access, and we'll need you with us.

Our rights are on the line, again.

Overturning Roe v. Wade was just the beginning for the anti-abortion movement in the United States—their goal is to ban abortion nationwide. Because of your support, the Center for Reproductive Rights is fighting back, but we need you in this fight.

Your support has impact across the U.S., like in Kansas where the Center secured a victory with a state court ruling that doctors can provide medication abortion via telemedicine.

Medication abortion accounts for more than half of the abortions in the U.S., and it's clear that access to medication abortion is the next battle front in the fight for reproductive rights.

Anti-abortion groups are currently suing the FDA over its approval of mifepristone and misoprostol, the drugs used in medication abortion. Filed in a federal district court in Texas, the lawsuit is seeking to revoke FDA approval of mifepristone and misoprostol and remove them from the market nationwide. If the court grants the plaintiffs' request, access to medication abortion would end across the country—even in states where abortion rights are protected.

The Center is watching this case and preparing for the worst outcome. A decision could come as early as late February, and could amount to a nationwide ban on medication abortion in the United States.

This lawsuit may have an even greater impact on reproductive rights than the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Will you commit to the fight today?

For years, anti-abortion advocates claimed that abortion should be left to each state—but it's clear that their real goal was always to ban abortion nationwide.

We are all-in on the fight ahead, but will need you with us. Please make a gift today to help protect and defend legal protections for reproductive rights around the world.
