Announcing Our New Grantmaking Strategy

The Nellie Mae Education Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our new grantmaking strategy, which will focus primarily on advancing racial equity in public education.

As a philanthropic organization, we will use our privilege to advance conversations around racial equity and excellence in public education, support organizations who are doing this work, champion their goals, and amplify their voices.

Our new strategy will encompass six grant funds:

Supporting Organizations Led by People of Color (RFP now open)
Advancing Community-Led Partnerships
Amplifying Youth Voice
Building Movements and Networks
Strengthening State and Local Coalitions
Championing Student-Centered Learning

We feel privileged to have the opportunity to play a part in advancing racial equity and excellence in public education in our region’s communities, and we look forward to this exciting new chapter and the work ahead of us this year.
