It's the kind of thing a child her age should have — along with pretend tea parties and other carefree play. But that has not been her life.
In the photo, she's in the arms of someone rescuing her from sexual exploitation. Online predators around the world have paid to watch her be hurt live on camera ... over and over and over.
Recently, I shared the story of another little girl, Cassie*, and how she was lured into online sexual exploitation when she was just 12 years old.
One of the attorneys in our Philippines field office reports that
the victims are getting younger all the time, like the little girl in the photo. Every rescue is urgent, and every court case you help our team win sends a strong message to traffickers: We will not turn a blind eye.
