In January, Kevin McCarthy lost 14 straight votes to become Speaker of the House. Then he went into a backroom with Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, and the worst of the extremist wing of the MAGA party and made a deal.

What he promised them, we don’t know.

I’m running for office because Kevin McCarthy does not represent me or the good people I grew up with in Bakersfield, California. And he hasn’t for a long time.

Kevin McCarthy made a big mistake: He drank the Kool Aid served up by Donald Trump and turned his back on what makes America really great.
