Happy Valentine's Day! Love is in the air and at OCCORD, we're spreading love by building the power of historically marginalized communities in Orange County. As a part of our mission, we utilize community organizing and policy research to build leadership and a collective voice. Our pursuit of policy changes leads to an inclusive economy, community-driven education, and responsive democracy.

We're excited to share some recent updates from our work. We partnered with Gilbert High School, and we're thrilled to showcase their vibrant and engaged community of students who are creating positive change and shaping the future of their education. Through our partnership, we offer opportunities to engage youth in meaningful and impactful ways.

At OCCORD, we also believe in fighting for fair housing. Recently, we shared the story of the residents of Pauline Street who stood up for their rights and fought for fair housing. We're proud to support them.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that two individuals, Petra and Salvador, obtained citizenship through our organization. We're honored to be a part of their journey and support their goals.

Lastly, we're starting a podcast! We're excited to share more about our work and the issues that matter to marginalized communities.
