Friend, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and I reintroduced the Fair and Transparent Gas Prices Act to address rising gas prices caused by price gouging, but I'm counting on you to support the bill. Will you become a citizen co-sponsor of our bill right now by clicking here?

Friend, I didn't become a politician for the name recognition or power. I made the decision to serve as a lawmaker because I knew that, above all else, I wanted to help working families like my own – and that makes announcements like this even more thrilling.
That's why Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and I reintroduced the Fair and Transparent Gas Prices Act – and the initial response has been electric. If passed, this bill will serve as a much-needed layer of protection for consumers from Big Oil's corporate greed.
Let me explain: In 2022, a year that saw cripplingly high prices at the pump, price-gouging oil giants pocketed RECORD-HIGH profits. Shell reported nearly $40 billion in revenue for the year, ExxonMobil reported $55.7 billion and BP reported $27.7 billion in revenue – all while everyday working Americans paid the price.
Friend, Americans shouldn't have to break the bank just to put a tank of gas in their car. Price gouging at the pump is unacceptable – and that's why I proudly co-introduced the Fair and Transparent Gas Prices Act.
But, as I'm sure you've noticed, getting any bill – especially one that'll anger Big Oil – through the Senate is a challenge. That's why I urgently need 592 Democrats to add their names to co-sponsor this bill and tell the rest of the Senate that this is an issue that matters to working families.
So please, before midnight tonight, will you add your name right now to co-sponsor my bill to hold Big Oil and Gas accountable for price gouging?

Con gratitud,
Ben Ray
