Dr. Sultan Chaudhry has served in many Islamic nonprofit leadership roles for a decade. He is a professor of dentistry and an educator. He has led and participated in medical relief efforts, established and helped expand Islamic centers in his state, and serves as a board member of a free clinic in northern Virginia.

Al Hajja Faheemah S. El-Amin is the first Muslim to hold an elected position in the municipal government of the City of Plainfield in New Jersey as the Fourth Ward on the City Council. She has been recognized widely for her child care business and center.

Natasha El-Haj Hedinger spent her career working in HR and then moved to working with nonprofits to encourage communities to become more engaged with the civic process. She now works with communities on youth development.
Emgage Action - Issue Advocacy - Candidate Support - Sameer Ladha is an attorney by profession who has worked at the United Nations and in corporate law. He subsequently pursued an MS in Bioethics. He is currently the Deputy Director of the graduate program in Bioethics at Columbia University, teaches in the program, and is particularly interested in Islam’s evolving discourse in the field.
- Farah Ahmed is an attorney, litigator, and mediator. She has served on several nonprofit and professional boards, including that of Austin’s oldest mosque, her local bar association, and as a commissioner on the City of Austin Firefighters, Police Officers, and Emergency Medical Services Personnel Civil Service Commission.

Sean Stinnett works in the Mayor’s Office as the Deputy Director of Small, Minority & Women-Owned Businesses and Director of Baltimore Main Streets in Baltimore, Maryland. He is an active resident in Baltimore and is involved in many associations, councils, and boards.

Lema Barazi is a litigation partner at Lloyd & Mousilli and regularly advises business clients on a wide range of litigation issues. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Business Law and Constitutional Law to university students.
