This is a dangerous person that we can beat in 2024. John, During President Biden's State of the Union address last week, newly-elected Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) brought a notable guest: a man named Dennis "Freedom" Horton who served over 28 years in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder for a shooting he and his brother did not commit. Sen. Fetterman worked to grant clemency to Mr. Horton and his brother for years as Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania. Highlighting second chances, mercy, and the notion that justice requires leniency when an individual's case merits it, Sen. Fetterman's choice was bold, courageous, and meaningful. If there's one Member of Congress that should respect and appreciate the message behind the senator's action, it is Lauren Boebert—a person with a rap sheet that would make most petty criminals blush, and whose spouse pled guilty to "public indecency and lewd exposure" after exposing himself to two young women at a bowling alley in 2004. Instead, total hypocrite Boebert had this to say about Sen. Fetterman's guest: It's become obvious to millions of voters across the country—and, crucially, thousands of swing voters in Boebert's district in Colorado—that this is the face of the Republican Party of 2023—a sanctuary for criminals, sexual deviants like Matt Gaetz, and dangerous conspiracy theorists and violent insurrectionists: Lauren Boebert's mug shot from her 2017 arrest after she failed to appear in court. This was neither her first arrest nor first charge for failure to appear. We've had enough, and we know you've had enough of this nonsense. But we need to keep up the pace to make sure every voter who came out for Adam Frisch and against Boebert last year shows up in 2024—and brings a friend or family member along to vote against Boebert. Can you contribute any amount to help The Colorado Turnout Project make sure that the voters in CO-03 finally defeat Lauren Boebert in 2024?
