Here we go again, John.
In yesterday's Wall Street Journal , two long-time proponents for war and sanctions were given a platform to argue that Iranians will welcome a military strike on their country . They all but repeat Dick Cheney's famous argument for invading Iraq because "Iraqis will greet Americans as liberators."

This is very bad and we need to hit back hard to squash their calls for military strikes. Before we explain further, can you rush a contribution of $25 or more right now toward our emergency fundraising goal? We need to raise $10,000 by midnight. [[link removed]]

Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, a resolution praising the Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK) , who were previously listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. until 2012, and their leader Maryam Rajavi's "10-point plan for Iran" has garnered over 170 cosponsors in the House of Representatives.
John, we are working around the clock to educate lawmakers and ensure they hear from people like you. But bad faith actors are exploiting the situation in Iran, and Iranians' demands for freedom and dignity, to argue for their own agendas: military action, more sanctions to crush ordinary Iranians, and even dictating from Washington who should rule Iran.
It is more important than ever to have an organized, grassroots organization with the expertise of NIAC in Washington to ensure our community is not exploited to support war or to increase suffering for Iranians.
Your contribution enables us to send our experts to brief lawmakers, conduct research and education for Congressional offices, and to organize local volunteer-led meetings with members of the Iranian-American community and their members of Congress.
Can you please support our work and help us reach our emergency fundraising goal by midnight tonight? [[link removed]]

Thank you for standing with us and for helping us fight back against these preposterous policy ideas perpetuated by war hawks who think the answer is military conflict. We will be following up with steps we're taking on the Hill to defeat these measures — stay tuned for that.
In Solidarity,
Jamal Abdi
President, NIAC
