Happy Valentine's Day Friend!
Those flowers you hopefully got today might last a week… the chocolates even less (especially if you don’t hide them from your kids!)
But the impact your voice makes? That could last GENERATIONS.
This year’s Have a Heart campaign is dedicated to early education — a child’s ticket to a strong start in life. Because the earlier they start learning, the brighter their future will be.
Ready to put love into action, Friend? Send a message to Congress: Have a heart for kids! [[link removed]]
In America, early learning is notoriously inaccessible. 50% of families live in child care deserts, and 1 in 5 Americans says lack of access to child care is a barrier to their well-being.
That’s because without it, some parents — often mothers — are forced to leave work to stay home with the kids.
The worst part? Without early education, children could start kindergarten up to 18 months behind their friends.
So, before you head out for date night or curl up in front of your favorite rom-com, urge Congress to have a heart — because every child deserves the opportunity to learn. [[link removed]]
With lots of love,
