Ohio is leading a dangerous charge to erase Black history from our schools and silencing Black voices.
Just two years ago, the Ohio GOP banned teaching Black history in schools, replacing an anti-racism resolution with a ban on “divisive” topics. Now, they’re trying to strip the Board of Education of its power by vesting it in an appointed figure, giving our Republican governor control of the curriculum. This is unacceptable, John, and it’s time to take action.
