Corporations aren’t supposed to be political parties or social activist groups. But all too often nowadays, businesses are prioritizing left-wing virtue signaling over creating good products that people value. Even worse, woke corporate enforcers are now trying to gamble with your hard-earned savings to advance a destructive ideology – without your informed consent.

Spawned by leftist elites, the ESG — Environmental, Social and Governance — agenda is infiltrating board rooms across America. Financial institutions are using ESG to discriminate against everyday citizens for our religious, political, and social beliefs. Law-abiding businesses disfavored by corporate liberals, such as gun manufacturers and sellers, are facing unprecedented discrimination from banks and payment processors. This is a direct threat to our American way of life.

Fortunately, Governor DeSantis sent the radical Left a message loud and clear: Florida is Where Woke Goes to DIE!

Governor DeSantis is putting the people of Destin and Dunedin before the jet-setting corporate elites in Davos. He is doing what he always does: putting the PEOPLE of Florida first.

The Governor’s new anti-ESG proposal will ensure that financial institutions cannot discriminate against customers for exercising the right to own a firearm or expressing the opinion that we need secure borders – or any belief that goes against their preferred ideology.

Governor DeSantis’ action against the woke mob also:

▪️ Bans “Social Credit Scores” in banking and lending practices, so that law-abiding Floridians cannot be denied loans or be “de-banked” due to their beliefs.

▪️ Blocks the use of ESG in all investment decisions at the government level – which protects retirees and taxpayers

▪️ Prohibits state and local governments from using ESG as a part of the contracting and procurement process

▪️ Prohibits investment houses from gambling with the pensions of teachers and law enforcement officers based on the woke mob’s priority of the day

The corporate elites and activist Left that have tried to use ESG as a Trojan Horse to force their ideology on us are about to learn exactly why we call it the Free State of Florida. ESG is a clear threat to our economy – and to the individual freedoms that our entire nation is built upon.

Governor DeSantis will continue to push forward on his freedom agenda and stand up for the people of Florida. Everything is on the line in the battle against the woke mob. We cannot allow the Left’s schemes to go unchallenged – The consequences of their radical agenda would be dire.
