Last week, PPT released our new report, " Representing Our Routes: The State of Public Transit and How the City [[link removed]] Can Improve It [[link removed]] ", with amazing energy!
See the livestream, photos, and media recap [[link removed]]
The report highlights JUST HOW BAD transit got for riders in 2022. Data showed that poor service on routes impacted riders in EVERY PITTSBURGH NEIGHBORHOOD!

But there is a solution! And Pittsburgh City Council has a central role to play. Some of the action items that the report outlines for City Council are:
1.
Call
on
PRT
to
publish
transit
schedules
that
accurately
reflect
run
times
2.
Call
on
the
City’s
Department
of
Mobility
and
Infrastructure
(DOMI)
to
reconvene
the
quarterly
Complete
Streets
Committee.
3.
Ensure
that
street
planning
foregrounds
the
need
for
more
accessible,
safer,
efficient,
and
dignified
transit
stops
4.
Ensure
that
City
Planning’s
coming
Citywide
Comprehensive
Plan
requires
equitable
transit-oriented
development
5.
Fund
the
forthcoming
effort
to
provide
free
transit
passes
for
all
city
employees
