Jaime, Earl, and Ian goats first stepped outdoors at Farm Sanctuary. This trio survived immense neglect on a property advertising “humane” farm-to-table products. Bonded like brothers, they sleep with their necks intertwined.

Darla horse lost her beloved partner, Sam, last year. Darla and Sam were the “it couple” of our California sanctuary for more than a decade. After Sam’s passing, Darla moved in with two other horses, Joann and Zoe, whose friendship has helped her through her grief.

Robbie and Lizzie pigs are childhood best friends. They grew up together, survived neglect, and thankfully found sanctuary. In our care, they do everything together, from approaching people for treats to snuggling up in the barn.
