When Kuciak was murdered on February 21, 2018, along with his fiancee, Martina Kušnírová, our network leapt into action to expose their killers and continue the reporting he was unable to complete. In the past five years, OCCRP has:
Expanded on Kuciak's reporting in other investigations, including on Italian organized crime.
Opened the Kočner Library in Bratislava, where journalists can access over 70 terabytes of records related to the police investigation into the murders.
OCCRP’s Central Europe Editor Pavla Holcová and Investigace.cz reporter Eva Kubániová — both of whom worked with Kuciak — will discuss the Slovak journalist’s legacy in a live discussion moderated by Ilya Lozovsky, a senior OCCRP editor.
You will receive a Zoom registration link once you make a donation. Please reach out to me with any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
