The first night of the second DNC debate is happening as we speak and -- once again -- we're seeing how climate change is getting ignored.

The location of this debate matters: In Detroit tonight, they're not spending nearly enough time talking about how families in Flint -- less than 70 miles away -- still don't have the safe drinking water they need.

They're not talking enough about how rural farmers in Michigan couldn't plant corn on time this year due to historic flooding.

And they're sure as hell not talking about why every Democrat must oppose the Enbridge Line 5 Oil Pipeline. Or the terrible impact of selling Michigan's water rights to massive corporations.

Vulnerable communities are the ones on the front lines of this crisis. And the DNC is ignoring those communities and this crisis by not spending more time asking candidates what they plan to do to stop it.
