I get emotional thinking about all the women in my life — my mom, my sister, my friends, my family, my former colleagues in the House — and how determined they are to make life better for all those around them. 

But our country will only see systemic policy changes that support women when we start electing badass, progressive women to all the chambers where decisions are made.
