The IDCCA is fighting against far-right extremist attacks against our schools, libraries, park districts, cities, towns, and villages. Our County Chairs are on the frontline of Illinois’ upcoming April Consolidated Elections, and we need your help to support them.

Today, we’re sounding the alarm, because the future of our schools, our children, and our communities are at risk.

We have made great progress toward building a more inclusive and equitable society over the last several decades, but there are some who disagree with the very ideals of inclusion or equity. They feel threatened and are mad about progress, and they want to tear it all down.

They want to force their hate-filled ideology and disruption on the rest of us. They are hoping that we’re not paying attention as they try to sneak their extremist candidates onto local school boards and library boards.
