TOMORROW: Hosting Office Hours
Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 14th, I will be hosting office hours in three locations. Please stop by to receive help with any federal issues from my incredible casework team or just to say hello!
State of the Union
President Biden confirmed what we already knew, his presidency is not based on reality. Although he painted a rosy picture of the current state of our country, Americans simply don't feel the same. More Americans than ever before feel worse off financially than before President Biden took office.
While I had hoped to hear his vision of rebuilding our economic strength, restoring the public's trust in our government, and addressing the historic crisis at our southern border, we received nothing. Instead, he rambled on making empty promises, using feel-good platitudes, and smearing Republicans with false accusations.
The President is out-of-touch with the issues that matter most to the American people and tonight proved that once again.
Financial Services Committee
Combatting the Economic Threat from China
The Financial Services Committee, of which I am a new member, kicked off the Congress with its first hearing to discuss how the United States can better compete with China in the global economy. The country plays a significant role, including being a primary manufacturer of many critical goods, and we must ensure to learn from the pandemic by reducing our reliance on them.

Interview on TMJ4
It was a pleasure speaking with Charles Benson and Shannon Sims about President Biden's State of the Union speech and why his vision for America fails to meet the moment. He is simply out-of-touch with how Americans feel about our economy and what they wish to see Washington take action on.

Interview on Fox and Friends First
I joined Fox News's Fox and Friends First to react to the State of the Union and President Biden's visit to Wisconsin following his address. The President's economic policies simply aren't working for folks in Wisconsin and I can't imagine his visit this week changed many minds.

Interview on NewsNation's On Balance
After President Biden's State of the Union address, I joined NewsNation's On Balance to react. Biden's self-congratulatory, political performance was pure theatre and failed to answer to many of the critical issues facing our country.

Latest Column: The pandemic is over, it’s time to act like it
Congress finally took action to put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us once and for all. We passed legislation to end the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate for federal health care workers, to formally end the public health emergency, and to require federal workers to finally show up to work again...
