Just one month into the Republican-majority Congress, we’re already seeing serious threats to some of our most foundational programs under threat. Now, Republicans are considering slashing Social Security and Medicare – benefits that millions of Americans depend upon and have been working towards for decades.

We absolutely must take back the House for Democrats in the next election, and we can’t do that unless we keep this seat BLUE. That’s why I’m asking you to make a contribution of $10 or more to my re-election campaign right away.

I believe that politicians should work to improve the lives of our constituents – not make them more difficult or tear away promised and earned benefits.
