Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback #21 Bobby Taylor reminds us:
“Our democracy is being threatened, and voting rights are at stake. We need to take action and increase the number of registered voters in Pennsylvania. Not everyone who is eligible to vote is registered. Not everyone who is registered votes. And not everyone votes in every single election twice a year.”
After registering 20,000 voters in 2022, centering historically disenfranchised Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work, the New Pennsylvania Project is expanding our efforts to include Philadelphia in 2023.
