Last Tuesday, President Biden gave the State of the Union address and like he said, "Let's finish the job!"

Under President Biden's leadership and with a Democratic majority we made historic progress to support working families and the American middle class. From 12 million new good-paying jobs, to lowering costs for working families, to the expanded Child Tax Credit, to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act – the state of the union is strong.

But we still have work ahead. The expanded Child Tax Credit cut child poverty in half and families cannot afford for Congress to continue to let this benefit lapse – we all know kids don't grow up in just one year. And we must pass comprehensive immigration reform, ban assault weapons, and support our workers by passing the PRO Act.

Please, will you chip in to support President Biden’s and our Democratic agenda for the American people and win back the Democratic House majority we need to finish the job? I have said from day one that I am committed to fighting for children, families, workers, and our communities in Washington and beyond. I am dedicated to passing legislation to improve our country rather than putting partisan politics over people.

I don’t want to see all the progress we've made be stalled by a Republican-led House. But preventing that from happening comes down to whether we can take back our majority in 2024.
