Dear friend,

This Wednesday on February 15th, our coalition, the Energy Democracy Alliance, and our friends at WE-ACT for Environmental Justice are planning a virtual Energy Efficiency, Equity, and Jobs Act Lobby Day. With your help, we're hopeful that we can get legislators to pass it in the budget!

All day, we'll be talking to legislators about the merits of the bill and the benefits for low-income communities and people of color. You can read a full description about what the bill does here ([link removed]) .


** If you're passionate about energy efficiency and a just transition for underserved and underrepresented New Yorkers, please join us virtually for the lobby day this Wednesday!

No prior lobbying experience is necessary - all you need to know is why energy efficiency is important to you. If you have a personal story or connection to the issue, your state legislators need to hear from you!

We hope to see you for a fun and action-packed day of virtual lobbying - we'll be lobbying from 10-4:30 but you can choose any 30-min time slot that works for you in the registration form ([link removed]) .
