Why support this bill?
- Hazing perpetuates toxic social culture at higher education institutions in NH every year
- Hazing can be traumatizing and sometimes fatal. Trauma is long-lasting and interferes in day-to-day life
- This bill mandates campus safety precautions and consequences for hazing allegations
|
Why support this bill?
- Prohibits health insurers from charging more than $100/month for insulin, no matter the amount or type of insulin needed
- Addresses the rapidly skyrocketing cost of insulin and follows up on legislation introduced by Senator Jeanne Shaheen to take on high insulin costs
- Check out their Op-Ed to learn more
|
Why support this bill?
- Addiction and substance use disorders are *not* a criminal issue.
- This bill reduces criminal penalties & sentencing of drug offenses
- Lengthening prison sentences does not solve substance use disorders, does not increase deterrence, and does not reduce drug use or sales
