Nick Freitas, a former Green Beret combat veteran, is running for Congress in Virginia's 7th Congressional District. Freitas joined the Green Berets after 9/11 and served two tours overseas in Iraq. 
 
Daniel Gade, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, is running for U.S. Senate He is a two-time Purple Heart recipient and lost his right leg after being wounded in combat. 
 
Scott Taylor, a former Navy SEAL, is running for Congress in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District. Scott re-enlisted in the Navy after 9/11, and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He previously served in Congress in 2017. 
 
Rob Jones, a former U.S. Marine, is running for Congress in Virginia's 10th Congressional District. While serving in Afghanistan, Jones stepped on an IED, resulting in two above knee amputations.
