Dear John,

Ready for an internship program that can help diversify the affordable housing industry?

The Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) is just that – an internship designed to train low-income college students of color for a career in affordable housing development and project management – and the application to apply is now open!

Deadline: Friday, March 24, 2023

BAHIP has been making an impact in our field for years, removing common barriers to opportunity and supporting a robust pipeline of professional and diverse leaders to strengthen our industry. BAHIP’s sixth cohort starts soon, and we’re hoping that you or someone you know will be a part of this year’s program.

The BAHIP application is officially open and we are accepting applications until Friday, March 24, 2023.

Please Spread the Word! College students who qualify for BAHIP often discover the program through word-of-mouth, so we’re relying on you to forward this email to your networks and otherwise inform folks about the internship! Apply now.

Who Should Apply? We strongly encourage applications from students entering their last year of college in fall 2023 who have an interest in urban studies and/or community development. Students who are bi-cultural and/or bilingual/bi-literate are also encouraged to apply.

Deadline: Friday, March 24, 2023

If You’re Getting Ready to Apply:

  • Review the Program Description We encourage our applicants to review the program description before completing the application. If you need a Word doc version of the internship application, please email me directly: [email protected]

  • Attend an Info Session There will be two virtual info sessions available for interested applicants. Come to get questions answered about the internship and application process: Thursday, February 16 at 12pm-1pm and Monday, March 6 at 1pm-2pm. Please RSVP/get the link for the webinar by emailing me: [email protected]

Thank you for sharing this important opportunity with your networks!

Onward,
