This month, Alliance for Justice will join borrowers and allies before the steps of the Supreme Court to speak in one voice in support of student loan debt cancellation.
Student debt cancellation is a policy that would provide much-needed relief to millions of Americans who are struggling under the crushing weight of the $1.7 trillion student loan debt crisis and help mitigate the economic harms posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On February 28th, the Supreme Court will begin deliberations on the fate of this historic program and the economic freedom of millions.

Outside the Court, hundreds of borrowers will be participating in the People's Rally for Student Debt Cancellation on February 28th from 8 a.m. - Noon.

AFJ President Rakim Brooks is among the scheduled speakers for the program.

We are bringing the voices and stories of borrowers to the steps of the highest court to make it clear that student debt cancellation is legal, just and necessary. Join us!
