Interview… Republican Representative Eric Robertson of Sumner joined us to discuss several bills
introduced in the House aimed to make our communities safer. As a co-sponsor of the bi-partisan bill to repeal the disastrous restrictions which
Democrats imposed on police pursuits in 2021, Rep. Robertson also provided his insights on the bill’s progress. He wrapped up by sharing his
thoughts on taxing cannabis products, providing tax relief to lower and middle income workers, and repealing the Democrats’ poorly developed
Long Term Care tax/plan.

story… The Inslee Adminsitration is – once again – failing to take on the mental
health crisis facing our communities in a timely manner. The state government is facing backlash for the lengthly amount of time bureaucrats take to
provide necessary licenses to sufficiently trained clinical psychologists. Many license applicants have complained that they spend months – and
in some cases years – pestering state employees to move their paperwork through the process. In the attempt to defend themselves, Washington
State Department of Health staff claim they do not have the necessary staff to process the mere 400 applications which are currently pending.

In case you missed it…
Republican – and even some Democrat – lawmakers have introduced bills to repeal and/or reform the anti-law enforcement legislation passed
in 2021. These bills, including one banning police from pursuing suspects fleeing from the scene of a crime, have proved to be utter failures. As a
shocking example, our state faces a massive 93% increase in car thefts. But that’s not enough of a failure to convince far-Left Democrat Sen.
Manka Dhingra – a champion of pro-criminal legislation – of these bills’ failures. As the chair of the Senate Law and Justice
Committee, she appears determined to prevent bills seeking to repeal or reform failed policies from gaining any traction.
