Attending the State of the Union Address
On Tuesday, President Biden delivered his State of the Union Address to Congress. However, he neglected to mention key points that Americans are feeling right now.
Americans are feeling pain at the gas pump and the grocery store while they struggle to provide for their families amid record inflation, and the President is pretending that our economy is healthy and that he is open to bipartisan solutions to his many crises.
The President has never been open to bipartisan solutions. He spent $3 trillion in the last 24 months without a single Republican vote. Now the national debt is out of control, our border is overrun by crime and more illegal immigrants than five times the population of my district, and our national security is at risk from dangerous adversaries like the CCP.
Georgians and all Americans deserve the truth and an administration willing to admit the problems they’ve created.
My Republican colleagues and I are working in the House to restore our nation's security, integrity, and economy, and we urge the President to work with us.

Protecting Social Security
Contrary to what Biden said during the State of the Union, Republicans DO NOT want to repeal or reduce Social Security or Medicare.
In fact, I cosponsored the Social Security Fairness Act to protect your Social Security benefits from being reduced.
This legislation repeals provisions that reduce Social Security benefits for individuals who receive other benefits, such as a pension from a state or local government or disability benefits.
Seniors should not be penalized for their lifetime of hard work, and I will always protect your Social Security.
It's unfortunate that the President chose to misrepresent the facts to Americans on national tv.

Meeting with Warner Robins Students
Now that the Capitol is open, I met with students from Feagin Mill Middle School in front of the Capitol to talk about the legislative process and answer any questions they had about my work in Congress.
It is always a privilege to spend time speaking with the bright young minds in our district.
I hope to see you and your family come by for a tour soon.
