John,
Today, on Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, I'm reflecting on what leadership means to me. Many of you may know Lincoln spent most of his boyhood here in Indiana. A young rural boy who would eventually trailblaze the path to promise for countless Americans. His legacy forever resides in the heartbeat of every boy and girl who dreams of something bigger than themselves.
His countenance and character were only matched by his fervent conviction in pursuit of life and liberty… FOR ALL.
Abraham Lincoln. An embodiment and testament to the American spirit.
If you’re ever in the Little Pigeon Creek area, I highly recommend visiting the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.
