Team: Across the country, we’re seeing widespread attempts by extremist officials to suppress the power of voters.
Make no mistake: This is a calculated attack by extremist legislators all across the U.S. to sneak by at the state level and further restrict our voting rights.
The latest blatant attack? Missouri. This past week, the Missouri state house voted to advance a proposal that would require a 60% approval threshold for ballot measures — making it significantly more difficult to pass citizen-driven ballot measures into law.
We refuse to stand by while these extremist officials strip away the power of our vote. If you’re with us, sign our petition calling for state legislatures across the country to protect voting rights and respect the will of the people — NOT unleash anti-democratic attacks on voters like this one. >> [[link removed]]

Like those before it — this attack is a direct response to voters using the ballot box to pass progress. Medicaid expansion, marijuana legalization, and a raise in the minimum wage — all policies voters needed and used direct democracy to successfully pass.
We’ve defeated punitive attacks from extremist officials like these before — and we’ll do it again. Just last year, we helped defeat identical 60% supermajority measures in South Dakota AND Arkansas.
If you’re ready to fight to defend our voting rights, will you sign onto our petition today to show extremist officials the strength of our team, friend? [[link removed]]
